Vuntut Gwitchin citizen Cindy Dickson is taking her legal challenge of her First Nation’s requirement for councillors to live on settlement land to the country’s highest court. The case has worked its way through the Yukon Supreme Court and Yukon Court of Appeal with the requirement staying largely intact.
