In northern Quebec, federal candidates are courting the Indigenous vote

In the 2019 federal election, voter turnout in Abitibi–Baie-James–Nunavik–Eeyou was just 49.8 per cent, well under the rate for Quebec as a whole. Now, there are two Indigenous candidates, and they hope to affect the turnout.
