The Canadian International Trade Tribunal today initiated an expiry review of its order made on August 12, 2016, in Expiry Review No. RR-2015-002, to determine if the expiry of the order is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping of flat hot-rolled carbon and alloy steel sheet and strip, originating in or exported from Brazil, the People’s Republic of China and Ukraine, and subsidizing of such products originating in or exported from India, and is likely to result in injury.

Today, the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, announced a top-up of $10 million for the Local Food Infrastructure Fund, which will re-open for applications on Monday, July 12. With this additional funding to address pandemic-related food security pressures, the Fund is supporting $23 million in projects in 2021-22.
