The Government of Canada announces the selection of 20 finalists under the Vaccine Community Innovation Challenge to launch projects to increase people’s confidence in COVID-19 vaccines and reinforce public health measures in their communities.

Today, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, launched two initiatives that will help Canadian businesses and organizations that have signed on to the 50 – 30 Challenge quickly and effectively adopt diversity and inclusion best practices and policies in support of their 50 – 30 Challenge commitments.
With funding from MAMP, the Village of Carmacks will conduct a detailed inspection and assessment of assets and a review of current and historical maintenance practices and competencies. These will be used to develop an updated asset management plan that incorporates the more detailed condition assessment insights to build on the existing Asset Management Plan. This would focus on assessing lifecycle needs and required investment in both operating and capital. In future phases of this work, it would incorporate the developed maintenance plans into the Asset Management Plan.
