The Honourable Seamus O’Regan Jr., Minister of Natural Resources, today announced a federal investment of $50,000 to the Pollution Probe Foundation to raise awareness of zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) and help Canadians choose zero-emission for their next vehicle.

The Competition Bureau has announced two important updates related to its filing fees for merger reviews which take effect immediately in accordance with the Service Fees Act.
Today, Adam van Koeverden, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Youth and to the Minister of Canadian Heritage (Sport) and Member of Parliament for Milton, on behalf of the Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Rural Economic Development, announced $441,200 in funding for Bell Canada to bring high-speed Internet to rural Ontario residents. Bell will contribute $1,286,200 toward this project that will connect 756 underserved households to high-speed Internet in the following communities and surrounding rural areas: Ashgrove, Campbellville, Carlisle, Cedar Springs, Freelton, Hornby, Morriston, Waterdown and other areas just outside Milton.
Would-be campers have had a frustrating spring trying to book camping sites at Ontario Parks, especially given the number of people looking for the outdoor getaways. A recent ad on Kijiji offering to use a bot to book reservations raised questions about whether someone is reserving a bunch of sites to make a profit.
