Members of the media are invited to an infrastructure funding announcement for four green projects in New Brunswick communities, with the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Member of Parliament for Moncton—Riverview—Dieppe, on behalf of the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, and on behalf of the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Natural Resources, and on behalf of the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
The governments of Canada and Ontario are investing up to $1.8 million to improve food safety, animal welfare and biosecurity at provincial abattoirs. Nearly 50 projects are being supported to help modernize meat plants and ensure they continue to produce high-quality, Ontario meat products.
The national average house price is expected to increase by more than nine per cent next year to $620,400, the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) said today. The reason for the spike is tight supply, the group says.
