In order to provide clarity and transparency for stakeholders, the Competition Bureau sought legal advice from the Department of Justice Canada and the Public Prosecution Service of Canada with respect to the application of the Competition Act to buy-side agreements, including employment-related no-poaching and wage-fixing agreements.
