Birth of baby caribou in Val-D’Or sparks hope for endangered species

A herd of caribou in Val-D’Or welcomed a new member last week, offering a glimmer of hope for the dwindling population in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. But a conservationist says more needs to be done to ensure survival of the species.
